Fuck this world

Blind sided by the reasoning's of fools It is hard to follow The twists and turns My head is spinning With incomprehension The intolerance Bred By excesses of tension A world of sorrow Love your neighbour? Fuck those countries Full of power Murdering thousands every hour I wish I lived in a far off land Untouched or tainted By the hand of man Where brothers all Live just in peace Words unspoken A great relief No hate of those Deemed to be different Religion free No afflictions Truth and honour Is all that's needed No rape, abuse or derelictions Dutiful All are kindred It won't happen I know its a dream The witnessed ideologies Historical non-fictions Taught to us all As we grow older It just goes on Vitriololic Devils spawn Fuck this world! If this it Any moments of pleasure Treasured Yet It's hard to see beyond the filth Robbery, murder Brainwashed hate I want to step off Before time slips by I want to get off

Thank you

Thank-you, who ever you are, if you have had the misfortune to read anything contained within 'passaleth'. The only hope that I can take from this process of out-pouring is that you have enjoyed reading even one of my poems.  Would be very interesting to take some opinions from readers, who come from all over the world, as well as the UK, I have been lucky in that; Folks in Croatia, Mongolia, Russia, Germany, France, Brazil, Australia, Spain, China, USA, Mexico, The Ukraine and a couple of others have managed to find the blog.  HOW DID YOU FIND IT?  It is a very great honour to know that peoples from such a diverse selection of locations have read here.  If Possible I would be happy to hear from any one who can tell me how they came to Passaleth. The name Passaleth comes from the town where I was born, and where I lived for over forty years, getting old eh!, Paisley, Renfrewshire has had a few similar names since the twelfth century, passalet, Passaleth and Paisley to na

What is the answer

Scaremongering by the unionist intelligentsia With little understanding of the smartness of others Tell them that failure is certain Truth is hidden Behind a wealth hung curtain Don't they realise That we are not so daft Can they not see The damage they've done Do all of those people Who keep an ear to the news Not have opinions Are they so easily fooled If I had the choice within reason To opt for self governance In this our great nation Would I not want to read all I can Opinions are gathered Prepared to take  A well informed stance Are we so blind That we cannot see That those who wish for failure Have their own interests to please This country Is Scotland Shout loud and with pride When the answer is out there Do not run,do not hide They will tell you Its not possible Independence will falter Don't listen to them Look after the future Of your son and your daughters Scotland is this And of course that They need the mother Kingdo

Luck of the draw?

After the flood Silt and mud Low-lying households Virtually ruined Pity the sadness Feel for their pain Hoping for some drought time Instead of all this rain The river is rushing Tearing towards the sea Flotsam a soup Trees torn free The waters have settled Subsiding like the tide Build the defences Or is it too late The horses have bolted Right over the gate Is it global warming Or the cycle that comes Once in a while The weather gets rough No compensation For the destruction in sight Spiteful world climate Or was it simply their turn When I see such saturation The rain sodden lands I wonder about helping Or if I even can We are all dry here Up on the hill Drown in a puddle I don't think I will AGL
