A calm descends Feeling fine I've been around for a long, long time Via every twist and wind Following along The guiding line Travelling at great speed tonight The memories come rushing back Of a lifetime spent Going round in circles Keeping low Avoiding troubles   Now inside This human carriage An easier ride As yet untarnished Walking with my head held high Proud in life This life is fine   We all go through it at a different speed Occasionally We take the lead Otherwise we follow on A father can learn things From his sons   Wisdom doesn't just appear It can be quick But usually takes years Until the light bulb sparks to life Knowledge tries its best to hide Ignorance A downward slide Disregard logic For an easier ride.         AGL
