Hidden we scream

Screaming only works
If it is heard
By someone or anyone
Who can offer us peace
A place where safety
Allows us to sleep

Step out of the darkness
Into the bright
Don't be afraid
If you know that your right
Honour and passion
For all of your beliefs
Is only effective
If you step out from the screen

I've never been able
To tell them there wrong
When I see that there causing
Our society to fall
Only through writing
And expressing in ink
Can I ever believe that
This world has
Stepped back from the brink
